Can't stop what's coming.

Remind me to tell you about the time I looked into the heart of an artichoke.

The Other Half Of Me
Ann Marie B
Mission accomplished.

Music
There's no real point listing off a big pile of artists here, suffice to say that if I were marooned on a desert island with a conveniently workable stereo system, I'd long for "Nighthawks at the Diner" by Tom Waits, Siouxsie and the Banshees' entire discography, some Steve Reich, early 70s Stevie Wonder, Talking Heads, a couple of Tori Amos albums and maaaaybeee...a Digable Planets album. And "Ys" by Joanna Newsom.
Films
So, I tried to make a top ten and this is how it went: All About Eve, Todo Sobre Mi Madre, The Ice Storm, Badlands, Far From Heaven, Singin' In The Rain, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, All That Jazz, Hannah and her Sisters and Mean Girls. That'll change in a few hours, though.
Reading
Paul Auster has the default "Favourite Author" space, followed by Margaret Atwood, Laurie Moore, David Sedaris, David Foster Wallace (RIP), Douglas Coupland, Jessica Mitford and more.
Television
"Wanna be on top? Na Na Na Na Na Naaa..." Plus, Arrested Development, Twin Peaks, Strictly Come Dancing.

Oh GOD. That's awful. You have no idea how awful that is.
    Seriously.
Oh, about the question you asked me the other day: the answer is, Leaving Cert? What's a Leaving Cert? I've entirely purged my mind of the leaving thank you very much.
But no, no I don't think it was.

    "I think I'm kidding?"

That's really worrying Catherine. I am genuinely concerned for your health.

But yeah, toilet duck suits me fine.
We should get dressed up, hit the cocktail bars, and drink toilet duck out of hip flasks all night. Now THAT is my idea of a good time.

Oh, and get Becky to come too. But she has to pay for her own toilet duck.
